BJP parliamentary board to meet at 4 pm

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold its parliamentary board meet at 4:00 pm in the national capital on Wednesday to analyse the results of the Karnataka Assembly Election results.
The ruling BJP has been ousted from power in Karnataka – its first forte in the South – as per the trends/results available till 11:30 am. The party was leading in just 37 seats, a loss of 73 seats from its tally in the last elections.
The top BJP leadership is expected to discuss the reasons behind the poor showing in Karnataka – a crucial state – ahead of the 2014 General Elections.
BJP leaders have already said that they suffered due to the vote split caused by Yeddyurappa's split with the party.
