BJP parliamentary board to meet at 4 pm

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will hold its parliamentary board meet at 4:00 pm in the national capital on Wednesday to analyse the results of the Karnataka Assembly Election results.

The ruling BJP has been ousted from power in Karnataka – its first forte in the South – as per the trends/results available till 11:30 am. The party was leading in just 37 seats, a loss of 73 seats from its tally in the last elections.

The top BJP leadership is expected to discuss the reasons behind the poor showing in Karnataka – a crucial state – ahead of the 2014 General Elections.

BJP leaders have already said that they suffered due to the vote split caused by Yeddyurappa's split with the party.

This is great shame for BJP .They are fighting for PM post which no body can see for them.I think Rajnath is not the right person for BJP president ship.Either Advani or Jaitly should hold the fort .Congress is taking advantage for week BJP or BJP is happy being in opposition.This is not good for the country.BJP should project MODI as PM .
