Guwahati: An empty wagon rake and two engines of a goods train got derailed in Assam's Dima Hasao district Monday, a railway official said. There were no casualties.

"The empty goods train was coming from Badarpur to Lumding. However, two engines of the train and one of the empty wagon rakes got derailed at a place between Lower Haflong and Migrendisa stations," said a Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) spokesman.

"The initial investigation revealed that some clip was opened in the tracks, which led to the accident," he said.
